Y/A Vampires is dedicated to one of the most popular subjects of young adult literature, the vampire. While vampires are traditionally thought of an icon of horror, much of young adult vampire fiction isn't outright horror but rather  a mix of horror elements, adventure, romance, and sometimes dash of humor.   Recently,  Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series has hooked a whole new generation of vampire book readers and there has been an ever increasing number of new teen vampire titles coming out. 
 

Y/A Vampires seeks to provide reviews of young adult vampire fiction, news about new titles coming out, and lists of vampire titles

News items:

Stephenie Meyers latest Twilight book put on hold after a umber of unedited chapters were released on the web.  The book was to be titled "Midnight Sun". 

Untamed: A House of Night Novel (House of Night Novels) by PC Cast and Kristin Cast is due to be released Sep 23, 2008. At this point the series is to go up to six titles.
